Training Center
Chief Suen and the Arcadia Fire Department have identified the development of a dedicated training facility as the first priority for the Arcadia Fire Department Foundation. This new Arcadia Fire Department and U.S. Forest Service Joint Training Center will help our firefighters sharpen their skills, help them prepare for a variety of dangerous situations, and help them stay safe while protecting us.
Today, the AFD shares a training facility outside of Arcadia with other surrounding departments. This constrains AFD on how and when it trains. Chief Suen and his team have identified an opportunity to develop a dedicated training center in conjunction with the US Forest Service fire service in Arcadia.
